Directed by Amar Preet Chhabra, Honeymoon features a collection of Punjabi films and will be released on OTT after the theatrical end. The comedy-drama movie received huge love from the audience during its release.
Honeymoon produced by Baweja Studios in Mumbai, India. Production, locations, transport and logistics were provided by the Indo-UK Film Company in Hounslow, England and the entire film was filmed on location in London, England.
It stars one of the leading actors/signers of the Punjabi film industry, Jeppy Grewal, in the title role, with the beautiful Punjabi singer Yasmin Bhasin playing his wife Sukh.
It also stars Nasir Chignooti as Billa, Karamjit Anmol as Chacha, Naresh Katuriya and Nirmal Rishi as Bebai, Harbi Sangha as Geji, Ashok Tangri as Fufer, Jenna Cairns as Hostess, Jagdeep Aula as Cashier and Jassi Mann.Exterior scenes were filmed in London.
Honeymoon Story:
The film begins with a conversation about stupidity in the same family. The bomb landed on a farm in India and the herder fled with it. It will explode when he pulls the pin. His family then insisted that he be accepted as a martyr. [not mentioned again - for light comedy effect] The younger generation looks stupid for not spending a day on electric bills to fix the fan. Chase the bus and grab Chacha.
They go to the station to pay their electricity bills. Sukh mocks Deep when he says he doesn't know about online payments. Souk (Yasmine Bhasin) laughs hysterically and walks with his girlfriend to the bus stop. Deep follows her all the way back home. He took Destiny, who pretended to be someone fixing the electricity meter. Deep runs up the stairs to confess his love, but Cha Cha's face burns. Deep returns with his brother-in-law and gets burned again, but Deep is able to confess his love to Suho. They fell in love and got married.
A government official came to inform the family that the government had purchased land worth Rs 3,000 crore to construct the airport. The family believed that she and Sue were lucky. After being asked what she wanted, Suk said she wanted a honeymoon, but her extended family didn't know what that meant and asked them to celebrate a land deal that would bring mouth-watering prizes.
Honeymoon Review:
A perfect combination of humor and passion, worth a visit
A very good movie with good acting and good directing. Romance, drama, humor and passion all mixed together and left a very important and beautiful message. Kudos to Zippy and Jasmine. Hi Yani and Barack. ...you won't be disappointed. Karamjit, Harbi Nasir, Naresh and Nirmal are especially faithful to his Harbi Sangh acting. He's a star, but the whole team was great.
